Lady Boys!

When we were in Vietnam, we had a running joke with our Aussie friends - What if they did an MTV style show in the name of "Pimp my Ride" only here it would be "Pimp my Cyclo." We thought it would have been pretty funny. Only now, in Bangkok, have we actually seen one that would have qualified- maybe it's already been through the process by the looks of it!

We've been filling our days with day trips to Kanchanaburi, shopping, eating Pad Thai off the street vendors for the grand sum of $0.50, and more shopping. The highlight has most certainly been the "lady-boy" cabaret we took in, which prompted me to ask Whitney, more than once, "So, they're ALL 'men?'" Not fair when you're envying their figures! The one free beer I received at the show did not adequately prepare me for the onslaught onstage of Tina Turner, Marilyn Monroe, and Michael Jackson Lady-Boy impersonators! Who-ee! Off to Sydney in a few glorious days- looking forward to Cheerios more than you can ever imagine.
